SUMMARY WRITING

Summary writing is a pattern of question that comes in the HSC,Board Examination. So, students appearing this examination need to acquire basic skills in this topic. Some basic tips with skills are given below that students should follow before writing any summary. 

1. Examinees should read the original passage once or twice to grasp the clear concept of it.
2. They should point out the main points of the passage so that while writing the summary they won't ignore any essential element.
3. Then they should begin with a proper title of the passage.
4. Their summary must be 1/3rd of the original passage given.
5. Summary should be written in their own words.
